Application Instructions

  • What you’ll need:
  • * Rubbing alcohol or soapy water
  • * Clean, lint-free cloth
  • * Credit card or squeegee (optional)
  • * Masking tape (optional for larger decals)
  •
  • Prepare the Surface:
  • * Clean the surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or soapy water to remove dirt, grease, or oils.
  • * Dry the surface completely with a lint-free cloth. Ensure the surface is smooth, non-porous, and free of dust.
  •
  •  2. Gently rub the transfer tape with a credit card or your finger to ensure the decal adheres to the tape.
  •
  • 3. Position the Decal
  • * Place the decal on the surface to test its position. Do not remove the backing paper yet.
  • * For larger decals, use strips of masking tape to secure the decal in place or create a hinge by taping one edge.
  •
  • 4. Apply the decal
  • * Small Decals: Peel the backing paper away from the transfer tape, ensuring the vinyl sticks to the transfer tape. Slowly apply the decal to the surface, starting from one side and smoothing it down to avoid bubbles.
  • * Large Decals (Hinge Method): Lift the decal from one side, keeping the taped edge as a hinge. Peel off the backing paper, then slowly lower the decal onto the surface, smoothing it from the center outward with a credit card or squeegee.
  • * Use a credit card or squeegee to firmly press the decal onto the surface, working from the center outward to remove any air bubbles.
  •
  •  5. Remove the Transfer Tape
  • * Slowly peel the transfer tape away from the decal at a sharp angle (close to 180 degrees). Start from one corner and pull gently to avoid lifting the vinyl.
  • If the vinyl lifts with the tape, press the decal back down and rub firmly before continuing.
  •
  • 6. Inspect and Adjust
  • * Check for air bubbles. If small bubbles remain, gently press them toward the edge of the decal. For stubborn bubbles, prick them with a pin and smooth them down.
  • Ensure all edges are fully adhered to the surface.
  •
  • Care Tips:
  • Wait 24 hours before exposing the decal to water or extreme conditions.
  • Clean the decal with mild soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers.
  • Avoid applying decals to surfaces below 50°F (10°C) or in direct sunlight, as temperature affects adhesion.
